Agapeh Allahverdi has a background in lighting design and interiors. She practices architectural lighting design in Los Angeles, CA. Her work ranges from residential, retail, commercial, and hospitality projects. She is the co-founder and art director of Zohar Concept, where she designs light art installations and interactive light art performances while using light therapy techniques.  Agapeh first studied light while pursuing her undergraduate degree in astronomy. She then combined her knowledge of the essence of light with her creativity to improve human interaction with light and space.

She believes good lighting has healing and restorative effects on the human body and psyche. And this is the basis of her design approach.
